I’ve now had over 30 years of experience guiding tens of thousands of patients and and clients through the process of restoring balance and improving their overall health.
What’s more, I’ve trained both conventional medical professionals and functional practitioners alike–doctors, nurses, physician’s assistants, nutritionists, health coaches and therapists–to get to the root cause of symptoms and restore balance ... something that medical training doesn’t prepare them to do.
Best of all, I’m now brimming with energy and feel good all the time.
Even after I'd become a “Health Detective” and restored balance and vitality to my own body, I lost close family members to preventable diseases.
Just before I graduated and was about to start my new career, my mother suffered a massive heart attack and died at the age of 56.
Then, only two years later, I lost my dad, just as suddenly, to the same insidious disease.
I was devastated.
After all, I had knowledge, training and skills but I couldn’t save my own parents. Why? Because their doctors weren't telling them the things I had told them. They didn’t listen to me because I was their daughter, not their doctor.
This made me determined to get the essential message of self-care and holistic prevention out into the mainstream, to prevent others from suffering, so I focused on developing an online presence to reach more people.
And that’s when tragedy struck again just ten years later. My younger sister, Cathy, was diagnosed with lymphoma. Three months later, she died. Again, she didn’t listen to me because I was her sister, and she didn't survive because her doctors didn’t know how to help her to restore balance to her body.
It was this final incident that was my turning point to create my Internationally acclaimed Nutritional Endocrinology Practitioner Training and the S.H.I.N.E. Events.
